Why did we create yet another Sales CRM?

Before HelloLeads, and in our earlier avatar, we were bunch of CEO, CXOs, Technology and sales guys running a successful services business. You know it very well - any business is about creating and keeping customers. And we tried to do this as effectively as possible using tools that were available to us.

Before pre-CRM days, it was difficult to keep a track of business leads in one place. Even today if you ask sales managers to supply, in few minutes, a list of all leads or prospective customers, they met with or interacted in last 12 or 18 months and categorized, they will be struggling to get that list quickly. This is in spite of having 'high cost' CRMs as a part of their organizational armory.

Among the way we also tried many CRMs to capture, manage and convert our business leads. However, as a business organization, we were unsuccessful in effectively using many existing CRMs in the market place. They were complex, required time and effort to configure, get trained, deploy and use. We did not know what to do.

Then, one of our team members suggested 'How about building a simple and easy to use, mobile driven, cloud-based lead management solution ourselves'. The idea excited us - given our background and expertise in business, sales and technology. We took a deep breath and dived in.

We decided to build a simple, elegant and effective CRM and lead management solution for sales teams for on-the-go use.

As sales professionals with experience in large MNCs, we knew how important it is to focus our time on creating customers and sales conversions and to leave the tracking, reports and routine tasks to a software. We wanted sales reps to bring home the bread without breaking the bank or killing themselves in the process.

When building HelloLeads CRM, we kept in mind these fundamental ideas. The results is what you see today - a simple, easy to use lead management solution. It just takes 20-30 mts to understand, deploy and use it for your business.
