Facebook Lead Ads Integration

Available in

Welcome to the all-new Facebook Lead Ads Integration dashboard!

We have completely overhauled the system to give you unparalleled control, speed, and reliability over your lead generation pipelines.

Whether you're connecting your very first page or you're a seasoned marketer routing dozens of ad forms, this comprehensive guide will walk you through every feature of the new dashboard.

Accessing the New Experience

If you are still using the legacy integration page, you will see a modern prompt offering to upgrade you to the new experience.

  • Click Try the New Version to seamlessly transition to the new interface.
  • The system safely unloads your previous view and brings you straight into the modernized dashboard.
  • Your existing connections and configurations remain completely intact.

Understanding the New Dashboard Navigation

The old single-page setup has been replaced with a fast, tabbed dashboard. This ensures you only see the tools you need exactly when you need them.

You can freely navigate between 5 core areas:

  • Connect: Authorize and manage your Facebook account.
  • Pages & Forms: Control exactly which pages and forms send leads to your CRM.
  • Field Mapping: Tell the system exactly how to categorize your incoming data.
  • Import Leads: Pull historical leads that you captured before integrating.
  • Troubleshoot: Fix issues and perform health checks with a single click.
TIP: Quick Switching

Not ready to fully commit to the new interface? You can toggle between the old and new versions at any time using the Back to Old Version / Try the New Version button located at the top right of the header!

Step 1: Connecting Your Account (The "Connect" Tab)

Before you can pull in leads, you must give the CRM permission to speak to Facebook securely.

  1. Navigate to the Connect tab.
  2. Click the Login with Facebook button.
  3. A secure Facebook authorization window will appear.
  4. Crucial Step: When prompted by Facebook, make sure you explicitly check the boxes for all the business pages you want to integrate. The CRM requires Lead Retrieval and Page Management permissions.
  5. Once authorized, the Connect tab will automatically refresh to show your Facebook Profile Name, your connected status, and a quick summary of your active pages and forms.

Step 2: Managing Your Pages (The "Pages & Forms" Tab)

Once your account is connected, the system will detect all the Facebook Pages you manage.

  • Connecting a Page: Find the page you are running ads on and click Connect. This establishes a "Webhook Listener"—meaning Facebook will now ping the CRM the exact second a lead is generated on that page.
  • Granular Form Control: Click on any connected page to expand it. This reveals a list of all the individual Lead Forms attached to that page.
  • Enable/Disable Specific Forms: You don't have to capture every single lead! Next to each form, you will see a toggle button. If you are running an internal test campaign or a form you don't want imported into the CRM, simply click Disable.

Step 3: Routing Your Leads (The "Field Mapping" Tab)

This is where the magic happens. Field Mapping dictates exactly where the lead is placed in the CRM and how their data is formatted.

  1. Select a Page & Form: Use the dropdowns at the top to select the specific form you are running ads for.
  2. Choose a Destination List: We have introduced a brand new Searchable Dropdown. If you have hundreds of lists in your CRM, simply type the name of the list into the search bar to find it instantly. All leads from this form will be routed directly to this list.
  3. Map the Fields: You will see two columns. On the left are the standard CRM fields (First Name, Email, Phone, etc.). On the right, select the corresponding field from your Facebook form.
NOTE: Never Lose Data

Did you ask a custom question on your Facebook form (e.g., "What is your budget?") that doesn't have a direct field in the CRM? Don't worry! Any unmapped fields are automatically captured and safely stored in the lead's "Notes" section.

Step 4: Fetching Past Data (The "Import Leads" Tab)

By default, the integration acts as a listener—it waits for new leads to arrive. But what about leads you captured before you connected the CRM?

  1. Navigate to the Import Leads tab.
  2. Select the Page and Form you want to pull leads from.
  3. Choose a Date Range.
  4. Click Import. The system will actively reach out to Facebook, securely download the historical leads, run them through your Field Mapping rules, and inject them into your CRM instantly.

Step 5: Testing and Diagnostics (The "Troubleshoot" Tab)

If you ever feel like leads are slipping through the cracks, the Troubleshoot tab is your diagnostic command center.

Health Checks

Tokens expire! If you change your Facebook password or Facebook undergoes a security update, your connection might break. Click Check Health to instantly verify if your connection is still active and healthy.

Send a Test Lead (Auto-Healing)

Want to prove the system works? You can fire a mock lead directly from Facebook into the CRM to ensure your lists and field mappings are correct.

  1. Select your Page and Form.
  2. Click Send Test Lead.
IMPORTANT: The Auto-Healing Feature

Facebook has a strict rule: You are only allowed one active test lead per form. Previously, if you tried to send a test lead twice, Facebook would throw a confusing error, forcing you to use Facebook's developer tools to delete the lead manually.

We fixed this. Our new system detects duplicate test leads, automatically deletes them via the Graph API in the background, and instantly retries your test lead with zero friction. It just works!

Key Technical Improvements

  • Zero-Friction Testing: Test lead generation now features an auto-retry circuit breaker. If Facebook rejects a test lead due to duplicates, we auto-delete the duplicate via the Graph API and retry instantly.
  • Smart Routing Prioritization: The incoming webhook logic now proactively checks for your new field mappings before falling back to legacy settings, preventing any list assignment clashes.
  • Memory & DOM Cleanup: Transitioning between the old and new views now features aggressive garbage collection for UI modals, preventing frozen "dark screens" or locked scrollbars.
