Capture Leads from WhatsApp using HelloLeads Mobile CRM

Introduction

WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business has become an integral part of every business, especially in marketing and sales. A considerable number of leads and prospective customers now connect through whatsapp. But it is easy to lose the tracking in the midst of hundreds of conversations in WhatsApp.

But no need to worry, as HelloLeads can come to your rescue.

HelloLeads CRM, with its automatic WhatsApp lead capture, can bring new enquiries directly into the CRM system and help you to connect quickly and convert them to customers. This feature is applicable to both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.

What is a WhatsApp Lead?

A WhatsApp lead refers to a WhatsApp message received from a phone number that is neither stored in your phone contacts nor saved as a lead in HelloLeads CRM.

How to activate WhatsApp Lead Capture?

WhatsApp leads will be activated only when, you enable permission for HelloLeads mobile app to read notifications. You will be automatically prompted to allow read notifications when you try to access Add from WhatsApp logs in Home screen or WhatsApp settings in menu. Once you enable permissions, you will start receiving WhatsApp leads in your HelloLeads CRM.

Steps to activate WhatsApp Lead Capture facility

1. Go to WhatsApp Settings in HelloLeads Mobile App menu

2. Enable Read notification in Phone settings

3. Allow Notification access for HelloLeads mobile app in phone settings

By default WhatsApp lead capture will be activated for both WhatsApp & WhatsApp Business in Manual mode

WhatsApp Lead Capture Configurations:

Enable lead capture from both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business

Enable lead capture only from WhatsApp Business

Enable lead capture only from Business

WhatsApp lead capture facility will be disabled when you uncheck both the options.

WhatsApp Lead Capture Mode:

Manual Mode:

Lead will be saved in WhatsApp logs, later you can save them manually. You can access WhatsApp log from home screen. You can save the WhatsApp leads to any list in HelloLeads.

Automatic Mode:

WhatsApp Leads will be automatically added as a lead in HelloLeads within the list that you have selected. During automatic lead addition the WhatsApp number of the lead will be saved as Mobile Number and First Name. These leads will be automatically assigned to the logged in user.

WhatsApp Log:

You can access WhatsApp logs from home screen using the Add from WhatsApp logs action button.

WhatsApp Leads can be added as leads in HelloLeads manually from WhatsApp Logs.

WhatsApp Leads will be listed in the WhatsApp Logs. From here you can add them as leads in HelloLeads manually.

Points to Note in WhatsApp Log:

1. Add the number as a lead in HelloLeads. On clicking this, it will populate the number in a add lead from. You can select the list, add name, qualifiers and save as a lead.
2. Icon that indicates if the number is from WhatsApp business or WhatsApp. On Clicking this will take you to the message sent from this number in WhatsApp Business or WhatsApp.
3. Date of notification
4. Go to settings from WhatsApp Log
5. Delete logs permanently

Important Notes:

1. While you are in an automatic mode and if you delete a list which is identified for WhatsApp lead capture, you will stop receiving leads automatically. You have to assign a new list in WhatsApp settings once again to receive leads automatically.
2. This feature will not function if you disable Show notifications or Read Notification access of HelloLeads for WhatsApp in your phone settings.
